PDF knitting pattern - lace stitch scarf

This pattern is the perfect weekend make to knit an easy lace stitch scarf. Although the wool is Aran weight the scarf is knitted on bigger needles to create a loose texture and beautiful drape.

Finished size

Width approx 20cm. Approx 140cm length.

Yarn

180 metres / 50g of Aran weight yarn

Needles and notions

• 10mm needles (for casting on loosely, this can be done on the 8mm needles by holding both needles together if you don’t already have 10mm needles)
• 8mm needles
• Knitter’s sewing needle
• Scissors

Gauge

11 stitches and 15 rows to 10cm square knitted in pattern using 8mm needles.
