 Gauge


Gauge is not critical but will affect size and yarn

requirements.


Gently blocked Stockinette in the round on larger needles:

24 stitches by 35 rounds = 4” (10 cm) square.


This gauge provided for yarn & needle pairing, to get an appropriate fabric density without knitting the entire repeat.

Use needles 3 sizes down for ribbing.


1 repeat in pattern stitch: 

26 stitches by 20 rounds =4.25” (11 cm) by 2.25” (6 cm)
