Somebody Kept the Light On

Some love arrives with headlights.

Some arrives with soup.

Some simply answers the phone.

Somebody Kept the Light On is a soulful thank-you to the people who showed up—and a joyful invitation to pass that care along.

A ride through the rain. A meal left at the door. A friend who hears more than “I’m doing fine.” Small acts become the things we remember for a lifetime.

“Thank you for the love that stayed

When the easy part was gone.”

The story opens into a gospel celebration of gratitude, then returns to something beautifully ordinary: a ringing phone, a pulled-out chair, and time to listen.

For everyone who kept a light on—and everyone ready to be that light for somebody else.
