Ten years ago I rediscovered my creative spirit and ever since then I’ve struggled to work out what to do with it. It just didn’t seem to sit with the other things I was doing, and it didn’t seem to be something I could make a living out of by itself. Yet once I’d found it again, it refused to go away! So I have been torn between the two sides of me.

But recently I finally acknowledged that I don’t have to choose one or the other. I can embrace my creativity AND do something else as well.This book is a collection of blog posts that explain some of the story of how I got to this point, most of them written at the start of 2022.

And that’s the spirit of this book – a snapshot of a point in time, along with some random thoughts that seem appropriate to share too.

Published in January 2023; maybe I'll add some more chapters or write a new book in 2024...
