Kitson Grant Application Helper (Kitson Pro app)

Draft a grant or scholarship application that answers what they asked.

WHAT IT DOES

Add the call for applications (or just the questions) and your own notes. You get what the funder is really looking for, a draft answer to each question within the word limits, how each answer meets their criteria, and what is still missing.

WHAT MAKES IT A PRO APP

• Guided questions and a built-in sample, so you never face a blank box
• A finished document you can download as a Word file or print
• "Why I suggested this" and "Check these yourself" on every finished document
• When it quotes your document, the app checks the wording and marks any quote it cannot find (pasted text and Word files; it cannot search PDFs)
• The cost shown before each run and after it, and a limit you set for one run
• A "change this" box to revise the result without starting again (each change is charged as another run)

WHAT YOU NEED (PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING)

• Windows, Mac or Linux, and free Node.js 18 or newer
• Your own Anthropic account and key (platform.claude.com). This is separate from a Claude chat subscription, which does not include it.
• You pay Anthropic for what you use, on top of the price of the app. In our own tests on short sample documents, a run of this app cost about 10 cents to 30 cents. Longer documents cost more.
• Anthropic credit is bought in advance. Anthropic says it cannot be refunded and expires after a year, so buy a little at a time.
• About ten minutes of setup. A step-by-step guide is included.

HONEST LIMITS

It cannot promise funding, and it is told not to invent achievements, figures or partners. Where your notes do not cover something they ask for, it leaves a marked gap for you to fill. Some funders and schools restrict AI help or ask you to declare it: check their rules and make the final words your own.

PRIVACY

What you type, paste or upload is sent to Anthropic to be processed, under Anthropic's terms. It is not sent to us. This is not an offline app. Do not put in anything you are not allowed to share. Your key is stored only on your computer and is sent only to Anthropic.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

The app (a zip file), start files for Windows, Mac and Linux, a setup guide and a README. It uses Claude Opus 5.5. You can switch to Claude Sonnet 5.5 in Settings: its prices are half of Opus's (we did most of our testing with Opus). Kitson Workshop is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.

Digital download. If we cannot get it running for you, email kit376351@gmail.com within 14 days for a refund of the app price. Credit you bought from Anthropic is theirs to refund or not.
