Pastel Planets

Pastel Planets, created by John Robert Beck in 2005, is an expressive abstract work that explores the interplay of color, transparency, and form. Multiple overlapping circular shapes emerge like celestial bodies suspended in a luminous atmosphere. The soft pastel palettefeaturing warm golds, gentle pinks, violets, and hints of greencreates a sense of calm while the textured surface adds depth and movement. The composition feels both cosmic and intimate, inviting the viewer to interpret these floating forms as planets, reflections, or moments in motion within an ever-changing space.
