The Man with a Face of Water – Oscar’s Notebook, Book 1 (ebook)

His name is Oscar Blanc. It isn’t his real name.

Having fallen from the sky one stormy night in the woods of Sart-Tilman, with no way of getting home, Oscar has learned to live among humans: their péket, their boulets sauce lapin, and all the rules they never write down anywhere. No one has ever noticed him. No one, until Victor Lenoir, a former inspector in a wheelchair, who saw through him in five minutes on a platform at Guillemins station. And decided to keep him.

Together, they solve the cases the Liège police cannot make sense of: a drowned man who smells of linden, saints stolen in the fog, a murder during Neon Night at the Carré. But someone in the shadows is taking a very close interest in Oscar.

A mystery in the heart of Liège, full of fog, intrigue and humor, where both sides can be right at once… and you still have to choose.
