Dear Josephine

This shawl was named inspired by a great woman. Josephine was an elegant, loving, and gorgeous person. Full of dynamism at her time, lover of independence and vitality. We miss you.

It is a simple design with lines and slipped stitches, top-down to remark the contrast of the colors you use. I recommend two semisolid or solids colors that make a good contrast.

yarn: fingering weight
MC: 440 yds- 404 m
C1: 380 yds – 449 m

Dimensions blocked
36” x 80” / 90 cm x 200 cm

My project: one skein Electricity (MC) and one skein Clementine (C1)
strong sock, 75% merino and 25% nylon 4 ply. Hand-dyed by ChileKnitz

Gauge
20 sts x 32 rows /4”- 10 cm in stockinette stitch (before blocked)
Needles
US #5 – 3.75 mm
