Joomla Token-Based-URL Page Preview Plugin

This Joomla plugin will generate an article preview URL that will allow a user to preview an unpublished page without logging into the website.

This plugin also allows you to share a page preview when the website is offline.

The plugin uses a token for the URL, which will expire. You can set the amount of time before the token expires, up to 7 days. To clean up the expired tokens, there is a scheduled task you can create and run.

Both the system plugin and the task plugin are contained in the package file. You can install the zip as is. Make sure to enable the plugin after it is installed in the plugin editor.

This plugin was tested and is working on the following versions:

• Joomla 6.0.0
• Joomla 5.4, 5.3.2, 5.3.3
• Joomla 4.4.13
• PHP version 8.2.28, 8.3.23.

If you are using this plugin for a newer version, it should still work unless Joomla makes a major change, but do please back up and test before installing, or use at your own risk.
