Seminar 2
The second seminar of the series
The second seminar of the series
In this second seminar of the series, I recap the significance of what I covered in the first seminar, introduce the third strand of the 'Fabric of Psychology', elucidate further upon the neuroscience of the stress response, as well as some of the mechanisms of the pathological effects of chronic stress, and introduce evolutionary biology in the context of explaining why our nearer ancestors relied more upon emotion to guide their behavior when they did not have to, and why more modern-day humans are not more emotionally well-regulated than they could be.
