Create reusable AutoCAD blocks with custom attributes through a convenient dialog interface. Turn selected drawing objects into named blocks, define their information fields, and insert them with custom values.

Useful for door tags, equipment labels, drawing symbols, and other blocks that combine geometry with project information.

Getting Started

Load the LISP using APPLOAD, then type BLOCKATTRPRO. Created blocks are saved with your drawing. Use AutoCAD’s WBLOCK command to export a block into a separate DWG file.

Requirements & Important Details

Requires full Windows AutoCAD with Visual LISP, DCL, and ActiveX support. This package does not support AutoCAD LT, Mac, or web versions.

Designed for static blocks and single-line attributes. Attribute dimensions use drawing units; placement offsets and rotation use WCS. Existing blocks are not redefined. Pending attribute definitions remain in memory for the current session.

Source structure and dialog checks have passed. AutoCAD runtime testing is still pending.
