Welcome the misty fall mornings in this soft and light as a feather hat. The delicate lace is beautiful but easy to work.

The hat starts off with a very neat long tail tubular cast on (photo tutorial included) and a tall ribbing which can be folded in half for a more fitted beanie look. The rest of the hat is easy lace with crown decreases hidden in the lace pattern. Hold together two strands of yarn - mohair/silk and cashmere - for an interesting texture and a luxurious feel.

M-L to fit a head circ. of 19.75-22.75’’ / 50-58 cm.

ITO Karei (100 % cashmere, 175 m/25 g) and ITO Sensai (60 % mohair, 40 % silk, 240 m/20 g), or other lace weight yarns held together.

Needles
US 4 (3.5 mm) - 16’’ / 40 cm circular needles (or a longer length for magic loop), and dpns for the crown shaping. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.

25 sts x 34 rnds = 4x4’’ / 10x10 cm in 1x1 ribbing (after blocking).
