Love Can't Fix What Trauma Built
I’m proud of you. I love you and we all are meant for a purpose
That God Put In place for us.
I know you’re tired.
I know you’ve been carrying weight that was never meant for you.
You had to learn how to survive on your own.
How to stay alert.
How to move without guidance.
And even with all that… you still kept going.
You did the best you could with what you had—even when what you had wasn’t enough.
I need you to hear this clearly:
None of this was your fault.
You were not weak for wanting love.
You were not wrong for needing support.
You were not broken—
you were just unprotected.
You gave so much to others because deep down, you were hoping someone would finally show up for you.
You accepted things that hurt you… because pain felt normal.
You thought being strong meant staying quiet.
Pushing through.
Sacrificing yourself. But nobody ever taught you this:
Real strength is also knowing when to rest.
When to say no.
When to choose peace.
There’s going to come a time in your life where everything starts to change.
You’ll stop chasing people.
You’ll stop explaining yourself.
You’ll start protecting your energy.
And you’ll realize something important:
Not everyone deserves access to you.
