The story of the Scalora surname: escarole or staircase, the two theories about its origin and the stronger one, a family from the Syracuse area between Floridia and Solarino, the 17th-century sanctuary and the other old traces of the surname, the map of the families in Italy, where emigration took them as far as Australia, and two Scaloras who left their mark.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
