Woven Coaster

A fun and easy coaster pattern where you work the circular base in mesh stitches and add a contrast chain to it.

We take crochet classes and the students are very pleased when they make uniform chain lengths. It is such a bummer to tell them that they need to re do the chain to a manageable length to learn the next stitches!

With this coaster design , we wanted to make them keep their first crochet piece and use it in the circle which they will soon learn!

We have included a short clip to show hoe we work the puff stitches in the last round as well as how we weave in the contrast chain length.
