Before the Ice Cream Melts (Before Its Too Late) : ACCEPTING THE LIFE BEYOND EXPECTATIONS AND BE OUR BEST VERSION, BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

Before the Ice Cream Melts, is not an ice cream recipe book. I have another book for that entitled 7 Wonders of Ice Cream. This book is about how the science of ice cream and my personal stories being ice cream entrepreneur can be associated with what most people had gone through in life.

As you know, no matter how hard the ice cream is, it will eventually melt. But we can only prolonged the melting time by using the specific stabilizer, the right ingredients and the right measurement as well as certain techniques. Nevertheless, it can unexpectedly melt faster than the time we predicted, due to environmental conditions. I guess you know that ice cream is not like most of our food or drinks. If our bread or coffee get cold, we can reheat it. But when the ice cream melts, it drips to the ground. Even if you freeze back the ice cream that still in a container, the quality of the texture will decrease tremendously. If our fruits fall on to the ground, we can quickly pick it up and wash it properly before we eat. But if the ice cream falls on to the ground, it’s over!

           Well, that’s how our life is. We can prepare for the best plan but we can’t control over everything and our life will have so many unexpected consequences such as things does not go the way we plan, we did not fit into society standard, we have a never ending wait for unanswered prayers, tests and trials that suddenly occur and also include we will never know when our life will end. Thus we get upset with the endless waiting, regret with every decisions we made, we take things for granted with other blessings that we already had, begin to blame others, and the worst is when we questioned Allah about our fate. Has any of these consequences occur in your life too?

           In this book, I will share with you, how a comfort food like ice cream reminds you about discomfort circumstances and unpredicted consequences which life can go beyond our expectations. Let’s learn together the wisdoms behind this new perspective and analogy that may help us to improve ourselves as the servant of Allah and successor (Khalifah) before the Day of Resurrection. Please help me to spread this awareness by having and sharing what you can relate in life from this book.
