Why am I making this guide?

It’s simple. I’ve been through a lot of mistakes in my video production company and I wish someone taught me the business of video production when I first started. I went into this business with a creative first, starving artist mentality. That’s a terrible mindset to have. I was one of those videographers engrossed in the culture of gear discussions and specs. Gear videos are valuable but it isn’t helpful to individuals who actually want to make video production a full-time income.

You might be shocked if I told you it isn’t all about gear and having the perfect image, there’s a lot of business involved. Without other industry creatives sharing their knowledge and experience, it would have taken me forever to land a client in the 5 figure range. That’s why I’m excited to share with you my techniques and learnings. There are simply not enough business resources for videographers!
