Welcome to the Pattern Maker! Play with pattern, scale and repeat using your own designs.

Upload an image and use the Pattern Maker to experiment with different repeat layouts. The easiest way to use it is to take a photo on your phone, crop the part you like and the upload that into the programme.

You can also adjust the scale to see how your design could look across a larger surface. Once you’re happy with your image you can then download it onto your phone or computer.

This is a simple tool for testing ideas, exploring possibilities and getting a better sense of how a motif might work as a repeating pattern before you take it any further. It is not a substitute for using Photoshop or Illustrator to create repeat patterns for printing.

After purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to access to the online Pattern Maker. You don’t need to download anything, the programme simply runs on your browser.
