THE CONTINENTS UNIT PLAN (UbD)

This unit will give students a comprehensive understanding of continents' role in shaping our world and the importance of global citizenship.

Using Understanding by Design, this is a concise unit plan to be used when studying the Seven Continents. It can be done over a period of a few weeks.

It includes student goals, enduring understandings, essential questions, as well as activities for each part of the unit. This unit is designed to be taught over a four week period with a culminating International Day activity.

It includes assessments for each part of unit.
