Atmospheric post-hardcore in Drop D, with room for melodic hardcore and post-rock. Six arrangements, all rooted in D:

FULL OR SPLIT PARTS, NOT BOTH

Load the FULL file or the split parts, never both, or every note plays twice.

TIME SIGNATURE NOTE

Low Sun Over Ash is in 6/8. Set your project to 6/8 before setting the loop region. 96 BPM counts quarter notes; if your software counts 6/8 in dotted quarters, use 64. The other five arrangements are in 4/4.

TUNING AND RANGE

Drop D: guitar down to D2 (MIDI 38), bass down to D1 (MIDI 26). A four-string bass in standard tuning stops at MIDI 28 (E1), so set it to Drop D. The lead line stays within 24 frets.

FORMAT

Standard MIDI files, format 1, 960 PPQ. GM drums on channel 10; rhythm guitar on channel 1, bass on 2, lead on 3, harmony on 4 (Signal Flare only). Not tested with specific DAWs or operating systems.

LICENCE

Use the MIDI files in your own music, commercial or not, with no further fees or credit, and edit them freely inside your works. You may not resell, share or redistribute the MIDI files themselves. Full terms: LICENSE.txt in the download.
