Swoon Sweater

DESCRIPTION

Swoon Sweater is a pullover sweater worked from the top down, in the round.  The yoke starts with a beautiful lace pattern then adds a color fade mixed with some fun slip stitch textures.  The sample is made with a swing shape body but tips are provided in the pattern for a straighter shape body. 
This pattern comes in 9 sizes using 3 shades of fingering weight yarn with video tutorials for easy to follow instructions for some of its unique finishes.

YARN

This sweater is made with Swoon Fibers in their Peyton Sock yarn (75% fine superwash merino, 25% nylon; 463y / 423m per 100g). 
Main color (MC) in Colorway Flower Tea: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins   
Contact color (CC1) in Colorway Tabby Cat: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 1, 1, 1) skein   
Contrast color (CC2) in Colorway Black Ash: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 3, 3, 3) skeins   

You can also use any fingering weight yarn in the following yardage/meterage;
Main color (MC) (lightest color) in yardage: 161 (186, 223, 277, 308) (374, 420, 474, 546) y.  
Main color (MC) (lightest color) in meterage: 148 (171, 204, 254, 282) (342, 384, 434, 500) m.  

Contrast color (CC1) (medium color) in yardage: 106 (127, 144, 172, 196) (228, 249, 286, 321) y.  
Contrast color (CC1) (medium color) in meterage: 97 (117, 132, 159, 180) (209, 228, 262, 294) m.  

Contrast color (CC2) (darkest color) in yardage: 705 (786, 866, 935, 1005) (1104, 1188, 1295, 1380) y.  
Contrast color (CC2) (darkest color) in meterage: 645 (719, 792, 855, 919) (1010, 1086, 1184, 1262) m.

Finished circumference at bust (after wash): 26” (30”, 34”, 38”, 42”) (46”, 50”, 54”, 58”)
Finished circumference at sweep (after wash): 41” (45”, 49”, 53”, 57”) (61”, 65”, 69”, 73”)

Recommended ease for Swing shape body: Intended to be worn with approx. 1-3” (2.5-7.5cm) of negative ease at the chest and approx. 9-12” (23-30.5cm) of positive ease at the sweep.
Sample shown in size 3 on a 35” bust.

Gauge:
27 sts and 40 rounds for 4” / 10cm in a stockinette st in the round after blocking with the bigger needle. 

Needles:
US 4 (3.5mm): For Main Body and Sleeve
US 2 (2.75mm): For Neck trim
(Use needle size necessary to obtain gauge)

Notions:
Circular needle (recommended), stitch markers, tapestry or darning needle, stitch holders or waste yarn in contrast color.
