Cracked Voices (2018) - Graham Palmer and Jenni Pinnock

These twelve songs tell the stories of eleven ordinary people who lived extraordinary lives. From PoW Klaus Kellner celebrating Hitler's birthday on Therfield Health to James Lucas, the man Charles Dickens loved to hate. From a migrant woman giving birth on the roadside to Royston's internationally-acclaimed musical fraudster, finally caught out by iTunes. Think of each as a voicemail from the past.

Cracked Voices was created by writer Graham Palmer and composer Jenni Pinnock. We are grateful to the Arts Council's Grants for the Arts and the PRS Foundation for supporting the commission of this unique song cycle project.

Cracked Voices premiered in Cambridge, England in March 2018.
