Red Shoe Socks

The ribbed sections on these socks are inspired by the shape of a pair of classic sneakers. You can choose to have empty eyelets or lace them with ribbon as on the left. The ribbing also means the socks fit neatly to the calf and instep, as well as creating detail at the heel.

Size
To fit UK shoe sizes 5-7.

Materials
100g/400m sock yarn.
Sample uses Drops Fabel Uni Colour (75% wool 25% polyamide) 204m/50g.
2mm double pointed needles (DPNs).
Stitch makers as needed.

Tension
37 sts and 44 rows to 10cm in stocking stitch on 2mm needles.
