Customize Your Butterfly Garden

The pattern includes:

• 4 small flower blocks to choose from
• A butterfly block that can be substituted for background blocks to add more color
• 2 different yard light blocks to choose from
• Optional 3" border instructions

The background blocks can be rotated to create a different effect.

Paper Piecing Information

Basic knowledge of foundation paper piecing is required. Instructions for learning how to paper piece are not included in the pattern.

Links are provided to two of my paper piecing tutorials on YouTube, including tips for measuring strips, strip-based paper piecing without subcutting strips, and other helpful paper piecing techniques.

For the yard light, Option 1 requires the template sheets to be taped or glued together. Option 2 is designed without the need for taping or gluing.
