The two short stories in this collection, Giving Thanks and Spooky Christmas, include characters and situations from established worlds. While they’re a good taste of the bigger stories, you’ll connect with them even more if you already know the characters and worlds.
The two novellas in this collection, Frosted Hearts and A Jackalope for Christmas are both standalones set in their own separate worlds, so they can absolutely be read on their own.
Total length of this collection is just under 79,000 words.
