Once I moved to Colorado I finally understood the appeal of socks with sandals and now that I’m a full blown sock knitter I decided it was time to make up a pattern that would be perfect for my favorite sandals: Birkenstocks! Since I hate making matching pairs of socks this pattern features two patterns that you can mix and match!

You do not need to use a Main Color and Contrast color but using them will make your socks more interesting! Indie Dyers often dye in batches of coordinating colors, see what you can find!
