Once I moved to Colorado I finally understood the appeal of socks with sandals and now that I’m a full blown sock knitter I decided it was time to make up a pattern that would be perfect for my favorite sandals: Birkenstocks! Since I hate making matching pairs of socks this pattern features two patterns that you can mix and match!
Download the free PDF Pattern Preview with gauge, needles, yarn, yardage, and any additional information.
Check out the #BirkeySocks hashtag on Instagram to see other people's projects!
If you purchase the pattern here, you will not have access to it in your Ravelry library. I do not currently sell patterns on Ravelry in support of those who no longer find the website accessible and have been ignored.
Please note that you are purchasing a downloadable PDF of a knitting pattern, not a physical garment.

You do not need to use a Main Color and Contrast color but using them will make your socks more interesting! Indie Dyers often dye in batches of coordinating colors, see what you can find! Some of my favorites include Unlikely Fox Fibers, Serendipitous Wool, Birchwood Hollow Fibers, and of course Yarn Baby!
