Quitter Mittens Light - Knitting Pattern PDF

The Quitter Mittens Light are simple and snug autumn and spring mitten, the mitten is designed so it can be worn on either hand.

This pattern is written for magic loop, and I will refer to either needle one or needle two as the two different sides of the mitten.You can, of course, knit this on DPNs or small circulars if preferred.

Sizes

1 (2, 3, 4) 

A final size to fit a hand measuring 7 (8,5, 9, 10)cm across. The mitten has a bit of give as there is ribbing on the sides.

Gauge

30 st per 10cm/4” 

44 rows per 10cm/4” 

In stockinette in the round

Yarn

100g of sport weight yarn 

The total yardage will depend on the length of the mittens.

100g 100% non super wash merino

Notions

1 x 2.75mm 80cm (or longer) cable needles 

(or needles to get gauge) 

1 x tapestry needle for weaving in ends 

4 x stitch markers 

1 x knitting needle a similar size for 3 needle bind off. 

Yarn holder or Scrap yarn to hold the thumb st.
