First Advent Sunday
The Holvi socks are inspired by the vaults of the church, which I visited during Christmas time when I was a child. I remember the high stone pillars and the colorful window behind the altar. This warm memory has stayed in my memories through the years.

Second Advent Sunday
It is time for Christmas decorations. Candles, lights and Christmas tree. My favorite has always been the Christmas balls (Joulupallo). The fantastic colors with shiny surface. If you look really close, you can almost see between the worlds.

Third Advent Sunday
Hoarfrost on window screen. How can something so cold make me feel so cozy and warm? The memories take me back to childhood. To that little cabin in Central Finland, where my grand parents used to live. How many summers spend outdoors with cousins. How many cups of hot chocolate after ski trip. The frost is as beautiful as my memories.

Fourth Advent Sunday
The year is coming to an end. The Christmas is finally here. It’s time to put all the buzz and fuzz behind and to relax. Take good care of your self and your loved ones.

- Yarn: 2 skeins of Sports weight yarn, like DROPS Nord. (45% alpaca wool, 30% polyamide, 25% wool. 50g = 170m)
- Needles: 3mm double pointed needles + 3mm crochet hook
- Size: EU 38 - 39
- Gauge: 26 sts x 38 rows = 10cm stockinette stitch.
