Ruby Cardigan Pattern
Ruby is an elegant fitted cardigan with a pattern inspired by gemstones of the same name. Each set of linked rubies is knitted with twisted stitches and eyelets. and is placed on a stocking stitch background. Contrasting long straight lines of eyelets extend from the cast on edge to the shoulders and neckline. The cardigan front band is knitted at the same time as the fronts and can be held closed with a brooch or a hook-and-eyelet fastening. The set-in sleeves are knitted mainly in stocking stitch with a pair of knitted rubies at each cuff.
