The story of the Verdiglione surname: a southern surname with no sure explanation, why to distrust resemblances, the old records from the public registers to the rolls of the fallen, the town that matters more than the region, the map of the Verdiglione families in Italy, and an honest page about the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
