The Eliot Gloves are knit bottom-up in the round using stranded colourwork; the charts mimic classic Fair Isle techniques with a subtly spoopy bat motif, because Halloween is a year-round affair.

2 colours of fingering weight yarn, 150 yds each
Yarn used in sample:
Sandnes Garn Sisu (80% wool / 20% nylon; 191 yds / 50g) in Black (MC) and Light Lilac (CC)
2.25mm and 2.75mm needles, either DPNs or circulars long enough for magic loop
stitch markers, tapestry needle
Gauge
20 sts and 21 rows = 2”/5 cm knit in stockinette, on larger needles
