Owl Bag

A cute Owl rucksack to delight children from 0 to 99.

The original bag was made in Natura Just cotton. If you would prefer a slightly larger bag, you can use Stylecraft Special DK instead.

Natura Just Cotton
Materials:  Natura Just Cotton in colours as required, Magnetic catch, scraps of strong fabric or stiffening, fat quarter of cotton fabric for lining (optional).
Equipment:  2.50mm hook, stitch markers, needle for sewing in ends.
Tension:  Work 26st and 32 rows in dc to measure 10x10cm or 4x4in using 2.50mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
Finished Size:  The main bag is 22cm x 19.5cm

Stylecraft Special DK
Materials:  Stylecraft Special DK in colours as required, Magnetic catch, scraps of strong fabric or stiffening, 1/2 metre of fabric for lining (optional).
Equipment:  3.50mm hook, stitch markers, needle for sewing in ends.
Tension:  Work 20st and 24 rows in dc to measure 10x10cm or 4x4in using 3.50mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
Finished Size:  The main bag is 30cm x 27cm
