Hello, I’m Sue.

I live in Nyaung Shwe, near Inle Lake in Myanmar, where I cook and share food with my family and my community.

Cooking has always been a way for me to bring people together. The recipes in Cooking with Sue come from everyday meals, family traditions, and the flavours of Shan and Myanmar cuisine, shaped by sharing and care.

Through Bamboo Delight and Hand to Hand Charity, this project also supports local families in Nyaung Shwe through education, food assistance, and community initiatives.
