✨Some colours don't belong to this world, at least not as we can see it. They shimmer at the edge of vision — half dream, half memory. They are the hues of the in-between places, where magic leaks through.
🌸For me, those colours have become the heart of my work — soft blues, purples, greens and a hint of gold or silver. They're the palette of Avalon, faerie groves and candlelit chambers. I don't plan them, they arrive uninvited like a breeze, insisting that they belong.
🧘♀️Once during a meditation, I glimpsed beautiful colours around myself and my partner, colours that don't exist in our world, or perhaps they do but we're not privy to them. They were so...vibrant, so alive, that even now I can't find words to describe them. The closest I can come is to say they were like "seeing" music or emotions as colours. I remember sitting there completely still, in awe, trying to remember every tiny detail. I felt like I had been given the gift of seeing another world, a place of wonder, a place we can all reach if we try.
These are the shades I try to call back when I create.
🔵Blue becomes the hush of twilight and the calm of still water.
🟣Purple is mystery itself, the cloak of night and the taste of a spell yet to be cast.
🟢Green is ancient and alive, pulsing like roots beneath the soil.
🟡Gold is the glimmer of the sacred, only to be used sparingly and with reverence.
😊I do experiment with other shades — reds, yellows, fiery bursts of colours that break from my familiar palette, but somehow I always return to "my" colours in the end. They feel like home, like old friends.
Together they feel like a language, my language, a way of speaking without words.
✨Maybe that's why people are drawn to them, not just because they're pretty but because they stir something deeper and half forgotten — a world we once belonged to or might yet return to.
Let me know your thoughts on colours and why you like them 🥰
Peace and Bright blessings 🕊️
