Our Store Policies


PAYMENT METHOD

Payment(s) made to ByLency will be made via our website. No other method is or will be accepted by this business.

REFUND POLICY

Due to the nature of all services provided by ByLency, refunds are not eligible. You are agreeing to this policy when you purchase on https://payhip.com/bylency.

CANCELLATION OF A PROJECT

Once information has been submitted via design form, the project will begin. After this point, if the customer would like to cancel the project, they reserve the right to do so but a refund will not be eligible if this decision is made.

COMMUNICATION

For legal purposes ByLency will only communicate via email & client portal. By doing so both parties are able to keep a paper trail of all conversations had.

REQUIREMENTS

Clients are required to send all information regarding their booking within 5-7 days after booking. All information must be typed absolutely no screenshots, word document recommended.

TURNAROUND TIME

Projects can take anywhere from 5-20 business days, 4 weeks for website developments excluding Acuity Website Designs to be completed. Business days do not include weekends and all major holidays.

DRAFTS

Draft images of ANY kind are for the purpose of approval only. You are prohibited to copy, manipulate, or distribute the draft designs to anyone for any reason. All drafts are the property of ByLency.


RIGHTS TO USE DESIGNS

Once this project is completed, “the Client”, grants permission to, ByLency “the business”, to use for portfolio and/or marketing purposes unless agreed upon otherwise.

REVISIONS

Clients are limited to 3 revisions. After you have reached your limit of 3 free revision, you will have the option to pay a uncharge fee of $10 for other additional revision.

Presentation of a single, well developed and cohesive logo design concept to the client, rather than multiple options.


Why the one concept method?

  1. Gives clarity to the client
  2. Fewer revisions
  3. Improves the design process

DISAPPEARANCE (GHOST) FEE

Although I do understand life happens, in most instances you can communicate with me. If you have placed an order and do not submit your information within 7 days you will receive 1 (one) courtesy email. If you do not fill out the form 10 days of this email, your order will be closed.


In the instance of the middle of your project, you disappear, you will receive 1 (one) courtesy email. If you do not respond within 7 of this email, your order will be closed.


All closed orders can be reopened within 10 days of closure for a fee of $50 which will need to be paid in full. If you attempt to reopen your order outside of the time frame stated above, you will need to pay full price for the services previously ordered.

FAILURE TO ABIDE? LEGAL ACTIONS

Failure to abide by said policy set by ByLency will result in disciplinary actions such as no longer being able to book our services or legal actions.

DUPLICATING DESIGNS

ByLency will not copy any designs. Referencing is permitted but we will not duplicate anybody's work, including our own.


ByLency, reserve the right to discontinue service is:

  • The customer is using profanity or being disrespectful.
  • The customer threatens an employee or the business owner, making that party feel like they are in danger.
  • The customer breaks the lawful rules of this business.
  • A charge has been disputed mid service.
  • The customer is being condescending or belittling.
  • Lack of communication.
  • If the design asked of them does not meet a level of professionalism. This includes but is not limited to poor quality pictures, profanity, lack of communication and more.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Clients are responsible for providing the correct information and photos at the beginning. ByLency will not be responsible for missing information on your behalf.
  • ByLency is not responsible for any misspelling or misinformation that the customer provides. The information that you submit is the information that will be used.
  • Clients are responsible for proofreading all information submitted before the order is finalized.
  • An upcharge will incur if we have to go in and change any information that was not proofread.
  • Clients are responsible for grammatically correct information. If provided with grammatically incorrect information, you will be asked to correct it.

FILE TYPES

  • You’ll receive PNG/JPG files. PDF for some designs. PSD files have an additional cost.
