About Me

About Me,

Dahlia Articulate (LemonCrust Crust).

"Our forever changeable values are the heart and staples of our heart."

Hi, hello. I am LemonCrust Crust. LemonCrust Crust is not my real name but the nickname I use instead of my real passport name in the Art Industry. This LemonCrust Crust name is a self-made nickname formed in winter season, December, year 2019, to start my journey as an artist. Henceforth, my production of art piece proceeded. To elaborate a little about my industry name, 'LemonCrust Crust', 'lemon' is sour. Nevertheless, if added with a little sweetener, it becomes heavenly. Just like an ice-cold lemonade Icy-Pole in the middle of a scorching, over-heated summer. The meaning of 'Crust' is a literal meaning of a crust. A functional outer crust. A peel. A surface. A container. A crust.

My works are mostly digital which is twined around some core thoughts. My works are twined around themes, thoughts and opinions that I think are precious, inward to me, and should also be, outward to others. In other words, I want to imply about 'values'. 'Rememberable, Precious Values'.

The reason I imply precious value is that the most of my loveable values are the heart of my ongoing work of artwork piece. These value, even when it is strong as a core, it is changeable. A. perceive starts out strain thought. It later becomes a strong heart of a 'core thought' that seem to be an unchangeable staple. However, this 'seem so mighty value' can detain and change with another perception. That is why we are all different. We are made of different values and perceptions. Although we may have different disagreements, we can always see that people have the same heart which ponder and cherishes something that is all precious to each of them. I wish and want to show my cherishes, my thoughts and my works to other people in high hopes of others to look, think, understand, relate, agree, disagree or change one's thought of value. Although there is no right value, we can pin-point what may be a precious value to have within us. This is one of the reason why I have started to make my art piece. I want to record. Furthermore, share in a hope of a better share.

Fragile as it maybe... . My art piece are like baby leaves of a sprouting plant. My artworks are like sprouting baby leaves because my beliefs are that everything, literally everything starts like a sprouting, fragile baby leaf. However, it does not mean that my works are like sprouting fragile baby leaves. Nor, is 'sprout' the theme of my artworks. It is just that I believe that everything starts small like sprouting, fragile, baby leaves. Which has an infinite potential to what it may become. Some of these baby leaves grow into a flower. Even a 'fancy lovely flower' starts off from small baby seeds, to fragile baby leaves, into a sturdy bud, then to a strong gorgeous 'lovely flower'. Lovely flowers are beautiful. However, 'lovely flowers' flourish only a few seasons and wither into nothingness without a sound. I do not want my works, my thoughts, my intentions to become like a flower that only lives a short limited life. I would like to be and be remembered as an evergreen tree. A beautiful, forever evergreen tree. That is what I wish my works to become and a wish that I, as a person or an artist be remembered. After a charm from my artworks, I do not wish to die away like a flower. However, after charms, I wish an infinite remembrance of my lovely artworks, like a lovely evergreen tree. My wish to be is that: 'A person that is always 'there' as the mean of 'there', with a forever unchangeable, infinite importance of exquisite notion with memorable aesthetic artworks. A person that produces works that is, and should always be, for past, present and future.'

To give a slight insight on how I proceed with my artwork is that: 'I find something precious. Either visible or not. Then, I think of a concept. Either, vice versa. then I depict my thoughts into several art sketches. Then, combining everything, I work into a piece. Sometimes, I depict only a little in a day. On others, I stay up a few days continuing my artwork nearly non-stop. After concluding my artwork is done, I leave it as it is and come back to see if there are any flaws, in a while. If I am rather satisfied with my work in time, I call it finished.'

Regarding my artworks, I hope to continuously create valuable piece. Never run out of idea. Never get fed up doodling nor drawing. Also, there are different interpretations when someone takes in an artwork. Whatever it may be and whomever encountering my works, I hope the works become jewels in their eyes.

Thank you.
