each doll is fully customized based on your vision. you can choose:

more complex or larger designs are priced after consultation.
character-inspired dolls may cost more than standard mini-me customs, depending on the level of detail, accessories, and accuracy required. they often require more specific or higher-cost materials, highlights in hair, and in some cases custom-made, sewn, or dyed clothing. pricing will be discussed individually after reviewing your request
basic customization includes :

how to order
to request a custom doll, please fill out the order form (link below) with as much detail as possible, including reference photos.
once i review your request:
- i will contact you with a price estimate
- if accepted, you will receive an invoice for a non-refundable deposit (usually $190–$270)
- this secures your spot and allows me to purchase the materials.
please note:
i deserve the right to decline a request if it is outside my current skill level or if i am unavailable due to university responsibilities, or refer you to another doll customizer, who may be a better fit for what you’ve requested.
again, your initial deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to purchase materials and begin the creation process.

process
- the base doll and the materials are ordered after the deposit is paid
- shipping of the doll to me takes approximately 2–4 weeks. this is out of my control, so please stay patient during this time.
- as soon as the doll arrives, i will inform you and start :)
- i will update you frequently with photos throughout the process
- i only continue after your approval at each stage

payment
- after completion, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance.
(this is typically around $180, excluding shipping, however you will receive an estimate for your specific doll).
- payment plans can be discussed if you have any issues— just let me know in advance and please don’t hesitate to do so :)
as an estimate, a doll can go from $320-$500+ excluding shipping, depending on complexity and materials. a mini-me is typically $320-$360. a character doll can go from $350-$430… -$500
if there is no response from you for 7 days after the completion, your doll may be listed for sale.

timeline
estimated completion time before shipment is 1–3 months.
i always aim to finish as quickly as possible (within a month) but delays may occur due to material availability and shipping times.

returns & refunds
all dolls are one of a kind and unique, and therefore non-refundable.
however, if any issues occur, or if you would like adjustments (such as faceups), the doll can be shipped back to me for no additional cost. we can always discuss and find a solution :)
if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact me as soon as possible. send a photo along with your order details to daughtrdearest@gmail.com, or contact me on instagram, and i will do my best to resolve the issue.

shipping
- shipping cost: typically €20–€40 (worldwide)
please note:
due to the regulations in my country, i am not able to send international packages unless i pay for the shipping myself. because of this, you will need to send the shipping cost to me separately before your doll is dispatched.
once your doll is completed and packaged, i will weigh the package and calculate the exact shipping price using the post office calculator. i will send you proof of the cost, and if the amount you paid exceeds the cost, i will refund the difference.
in most cases, this means your country will not charge you additional shipping, but if any customs fees or taxes occur, i am not responsible for them and unfortunately this is out of my hands.
delivery times vary and are out of my control.

about my work
i do have a specific style, and while i always try my best to bring your vision to life, there may be requests i cannot fulfill, either due to time, complexity, or my current skill level. i am constantly learning and improving, just like any artist. i don’t recreate other artists’ dolls exactly, but i will do my best to capture your vision in my own style.
please feel free to send inspiration photos, they are always appreciated and very, very welcome, as well as photos of the person. i will most likely ask for more photos than you provided anyway, since i want the doll to really look like you (or whoever the doll is based on). be as specific as possible regarding all your wishes.
please keep in mind that these are not mass produced dolls.
they are art pieces, and like anything handmade, they may have small irregularities or imperfections, that is part of what makes each one unique.
i am not a robot, and every doll is customized with love, time, care, and attention to detail.
