[Megan a.k.a. doodies is a crochet pattern designer and content creator]

I began crocheting in the midst of lockdown in 2020, when I received some crochet hooks handed down through family. After some trial and error, doodies crochet began in November 2021 initially inspired by my great-nan's granny square waistcoat from the 1960s.

I soon realised the versatility of waistcoats and vests, regardless of gender, size etc. and that's where the foundation of doodies crochet began.

Alongside crochet patterns, I also have a YouTube channel (@doodiescrochet) and I'm an affiliate partner with LoveCrafts, so feel free to shop using the link here to support my small business another way.

[What is your favourite brand of cotton yarn?]

I always recommend *Yarn and Colors Epic which is a weight 4 / Aran cotton yarn.

[What crochet hooks do you use?]

All of my hooks are pretty basic but I do suggest an ergonomic handle for comfort, most of mine are all from the same brand *here.

[I've seen one of your projects in a video but can't find the pattern?]
