What is Easthaven?
Easthaven is a self-sustaining sanctuary village, estate, and legacy project located in Washington State. We're creating 1,000+ acres of cottages, a castle, a school, a hospital, farms, studios, and a full ecosystem for people who want to live safely, freely, and with beauty. It's designed for long term living, healing, and family building -- not just renting.
Who can live at Easthaven?
Anyone aligned with our values -- kindness, consent, beauty, and safety. We welcome queer people, neurodivergent folks, trauma survivors, artists, single parents, chosen families, and elders -- as long as as your committed to contributing to the harmony of the space.
How do I apply to live there?
You'll first join the waitlist and submit a full application; this included a background check, paid for by us, a values questionnaire, aesthetic/home size preferences, and an interview.
How much is rent?
Rent will never exceed 25% of federal minimum wage. That means rent will be capped at $290 per month.
Can I bring my family?
Yes! We have homes from studio to five bedrooms. Families of all kinds -- chosen family and adopted youth are welcome.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Each home can accommodate registered companion animals, and we will have a shared vet care, animal care teams, and walking areas. Pet safety and compatibility will be reviewed during the intake process.
Will residents be required to work?
No. There's no labor requirement to live here. However, we encourage everyone to contribute in a way that fits their ability: teaching, cooking, growing food, mentoring, hosting events, making art, or helping care for others.
How is this funded?
Easthaven is being funded entirely through donations, sponsorships, and our animation studio. We do not use investors, banks, or gentrification-based models. Every dollar is intentional and rooted in care.
Where is Easthaven being built?
We are in the process of acquiring 1,000-7000+ acres of private mountains land in Washington State, with year-round seasons, fresh water access, and zoning that allows for a private community.
What will the castle be used for?
The castle is a family residence, event space, archive vault, and community culture center. It includes bedrooms, secret rooms, libraries, a ballroom, family vault, music rooms, a chapel, and tunnels to other estate areas.
What about medical care?
Easthaven will have a hospital that includes:
Is this a cult or commune?
No. Easthaven is a gated sanctuary, not a cult, commune, or religious group. There is no hierarchy, forced labor, worship, or financial control. You live freely -- but safely and respectfully.
What security measures will be in place?
We will have:
Can I change my cottage after I move in?
Yes. If availability allows, you may request a transfer to a new size or aesthetic. Residents may also paint and personalize their home.
Can I come visit?
Once Easthaven is partially complete, we will host invited tours, donor weekends, and seasonal balls. Until then virtual visits and updates will be available monthly.
When will Easthaven be ready?
Phase 1: land, housing, greenhouses, the school are projected to open by 2029. Full completion: castle, hospital, gardens, and legacy structures are targeted for late 2031.
Is this for real?
Yes. it's not a metaphor, a fandom, or a concept. Easthaven is real land, real people, and real plans -- being built now, not imagined someday.
