“Not all heroes wear capes. Some just carry laptops, live on instant noodles, and smile while hiding the weight of debt and silence.”

I’m just a regular student — studying informatics, typing lines of code until 2 AM, and chasing a future that feels both promising and painfully far away. On the outside, I look like every other student in my faculty: headphones on, laptop open, eyes heavy.
But behind the screen… there’s a story I can’t put my name on.
💻 Informatics Isn’t Easy — Especially When You’re Broke
People think tech students have it easy. “You'll get a high-paying job,” they say. “You’re lucky — you’re in demand.”
What they don’t see is the financial stress, the mental exhaustion, and the weight of debt growing every semester. I’m working part-time when I can, selling digital files, freelancing quietly, and building small things — just to make it one more week.
I haven’t bought a new hoodie in two years. I skip meals sometimes just to make my laptop charger last longer. I’m not complaining — I’m surviving.
🧠The Mental Game No One Talks About
Debt is one thing — but the mental weight? That’s worse. I can’t talk openly about what I’m going through. Not because I don’t want to — but because bullying is real.
Speak too much, and suddenly your name becomes a joke in a group chat. Share a weakness, and it’s used against you. So, I stay anonymous. I code in silence. I cry sometimes in silence. And I push forward.
đź’ˇ Why I Keep Going
Every time I write a script that works…
Every time I build a website from scratch…
Every time someone supports one of my small digital products…
It reminds me: this struggle has a purpose.
I don’t want pity. I want understanding. I want to connect with others like me — students hiding under hoodies, fighting quietly, and building a better future, one keystroke at a time.
🙏 If You’ve Read This Far
You don’t need to know my name. Just know I’m real.
If you’re in the same shoes: keep pushing. Build small. Learn big. And never let anyone silence your story.
