Jed & Abi met on the internet several years before its destruction. It wasn't long before they realised they had a lot in common, and eventually they wrote a book together. After a couple of brushes with agents, they decided that the corporate publishing route wasn't for them, and so founded the micropress FIXER OPTIONAL, a cyberpunk-focussed operation with ambitions of becoming a home-from-home for all manner of gritty and socially-conscious SF writers.
