Hi, I’m Ken — the crafter behind LoveKeepsbyKen and KCPrintablePh. I didn’t start with digital templates or printable planners. I started with a paintbrush, some plaster molds, and a desire to create meaningful moments with my daughter.
It began as a simple bonding activity at home — painting plaster molds with my eldest daughter. We had so much fun that we turned it into something more: an online shop called Let’s Paint and See, where we sold our painted creations. We even started turning them into magnetized keepsakes by hand-cutting magnetic sheets and attaching them to each piece — a task my husband and I would do together, late at night, while the kids were asleep.
Seeing how our small crafts brought joy to others, my husband surprised me with a Cricut Maker he found on eBay. At first, it was just to make the cutting faster and more efficient. But for me, it wasn’t just a machine — it was a spark.
From there, I began exploring how to make Cricut templates, printable calendars, and digital designs. I realized that instead of creating one physical product at a time, I could design once and help hundreds of other crafters by selling digital templates. And most importantly, I could do it while still being present for my kids.
When my second child was born, I found myself even more inspired to create. I started designing busy books and activity pages to keep my children entertained and learning at home. I also created custom notebooks, personalized school stickers, and functional planners that helped me organize our busy days.
Now, I create and sell printable calendars, editable Canva templates, Cricut-ready files, and DIY planners — all from home, on my own schedule. Every product is designed with real-life use in mind, built from experience, and made to serve fellow crafters, moms, and small business dreamers like me.
Selling templates gave me more than income — it gave me a way to express myself, connect with others, and build something meaningful without sacrificing my time with my family.
If you’re a busy mom, a crafter at heart, or someone who dreams of turning creativity into income — I hope my story encourages you. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. You just need to start with what you have — even if it's just a paintbrush, some time with your child, and a little courage to share your gifts with the world.
Thanks for being here. I’m so glad we’re crafting this journey together.
