Planning Handmade Holiday Gifts Across Quilting, Crochet, and Knitting
I love making holiday gifts. I’m less fond of the moment when I remember the quilt I meant to finish, the yarn I set aside for someone, and the knitting project that still needs a decision.
If you make gifts in more than one craft, you know how quickly the plans can end up scattered across notebooks, project bags, and the back of an envelope. That’s why I put together the Made to Learn Holiday Gift Planner Trio.
The bundle includes three separate printable planners: one for quilting, one for crochet, and one for knitting. You can use the pages that fit what you’re making this year, whether that’s a mix of all three crafts or a handmade gift list shared with another maker in your household.
My favorite way to start is simple: write down each person and the gift idea you have for them. Then look at the materials you already own. That leftover quilt fabric or yarn may be just right for a small gift. Once the ideas are on paper, it’s much easier to choose what you actually want to make first.
The planners have roomy writing space, larger serif text, and a festive garland across the pages. They’re digital PDFs, so you can print the pages you need as your plans take shape.
A handmade holiday doesn’t need a perfect schedule. It helps to have one place to gather your ideas, see what supplies you have, and keep track of the gifts you’re excited to finish.
