Recently, I started experimenting with something new called print-on-demand.
Aside from creating digital products, I wanted to try turning some of my simple design ideas into actual items like shirts and other merch. I decided to call this small project MiaMakesDesigns.
The idea is pretty simple: create a design, upload it to a platform, and if someone orders the product, the platform handles the printing and shipping. I’m still learning how everything works, but it’s been an interesting experience so far.
For my first design, I created a Mystic Cat Spiral shirt. I uploaded it to a couple of platforms to see how the process works and how the design looks on different products.
Right now, the design is available on platforms like TeePublic and HeraPrint. HeraPrint is especially helpful for those in the Philippines since it’s a local platform.
At this stage, I’m mostly experimenting and learning. I’m trying different ideas, styles, and seeing what works. Creating designs is a fun way to explore creativity, and print-on-demand makes it possible to turn those ideas into real products without needing inventory.
