May has a PhD in Comunication by Uerj, with a focus in cognition and creativity in TTRPG.

Has published Caleidoscópio, with Editora Illuminare, and selfpublished the following short stories: Journey Home, Crystalline, The Keeper of Magic and Favorite. Was featured in the following anthologies: Contos de Fada, Anjos e Demônios, both with Illuminare; Valquírias, with Darda Editora; and Momentum and Keep Faith, both organized and edited by Gabriela Martins.

She cts as editor-in-chief for Revista Avessa, a Brazilian literary magazine, since 2014 and is part of the regular cast for Andarilhos do Imaginário, a Brazilian podcast about writing.
