SPECIAL EDITION: The CEO of star looks back on 2023

Merry Christmas! In this edition, the CEO of star looks back, from January to December, on the greatest hits of star and Nebula.

January

At this time, Nebula was known as CELITIA. We had our second and third events, WATCH NOW, and Inside Look (at FTCES, of which we have no affiliation). In WATCH NOW, CELITIA Phone 2 was my favorite design out of all of the phones in the CELITIA lineup. The back display was elegant, and the phone had these awesome colors that I loved. The prototypes shown in Inside Look were also some of my favorites, as they lay the foundations of my future products. I especially loved the environment commitments that CELITIA made, which Nebula has yet to make.

February — March

In the last event for CELITIA, we announced the new phone with a mint green and camera design that I especially loved. It has since then laid the foundation for the recent Nebula Phones. In March, star had acquired Nebula. This was a new era for our brand — in philosophy, design, software. I had very much disliked the old way the CELITIA had operated — under a basic design and with no consistency. It was time to redefine ourselves and create a new identity for ourselves.

April — May

We had released our first product — the Nebula Phone 1. It had a design that I had come to appreciate as too much but also not enough. From the front of the device, it looks like it has everything it needs, but from the back, it looks like there could be more added. The exclusive color, Sparkle Purple, had been chosen from a lottery held by Nebula.

June

We took a break from work and in turn, worked on the other parts of Nebula.

July — August

We announced Nebula Classical — my favorite event of all. I really liked the app design and the finished product of Nebula XR. I also really loved marketing the event and keeping everyone on their toes about the event. I love the new direction that Nebula was going in, and I couldn’t wait for our future. In August, we announced Nebula Fold 1 — another design that I loved. The colors looked absolutely fabulous, with the Unwired Red and dotcom Blue looking absolutely gorgeous. We also launched Luminosity, our investigative journal.

September — October

In September, we had launched our third event, including Nebula Photon, Nebula Pocket, and Nebula Clock. I loved the design of the products and the software. I also love the graphic designs I had made, especially the bright colors and the varying identities from each to each. In October, we had also hosted the STELLAR Awards, which was a success in design and execution. I loved the seals I had made and the promotional designs.

November - December

In December, we had launched our second generation of Nebula Phone and introduced a Pro model. We had also launched our first computer and software. It was a landmark event for us, In terms of software and design. The Nebula Phone 2 had been updated so that it could be more complete. We added a Pro model to the lineup because we felt like it wasn’t complete enough.

That’s Nebula in 2023. We hope that we can do even more and much more in 2024. We thank you in joining us for this wonderful trip, and merry Christmas!
