Remember when Timothy Cookie was the hottest thing in the fake tech universe (FTU)? Or when Orange Music was one of the top places to play your favorite hits? Or when Nebula debuted Nebula Classical? Most likely, you don't remember these examples I just threw at you. However, if you do, then you're with me, wondering what happened to the music industry in the FTU?
There never was a definite music "industry" in the FTU, but rather, a melting pot of streaming services and musical artists. It used to be the biggest thing a few months ago - but what happened now?
Pear Entertainment, a subsidiary of pear, had some of the highest number of artists on contract under a fake company. A cursory glance reveals that they had 8 different soloists and artists combined (including disbanded) - which is a lot considering how much is on pear's plate. However, it was something different.
Right now, all I see are events, events, events, and events. In contrast, scrolling through the history of musical artists was actually fun. The parodies of certain figures was laughable and was something different - in fact, all of the musical artists were different. I'm going to be blatantly honest with you - I'm sick of seeing events and new product launches. Is there going to be something different?
I'm writing this for you to consider that it may be good for the FTU if we expanded our horizons. Music is essential to the human life. It makes us feel things, be it happy or sad. It can be simple, like updating the long-neglected music services, or have more to it, like creating music programs to promote music or signing on new artists. Either way, it's a change in the landscape.
(P.S. the above mentioned are called 'musical endeavors'. It's also a sign that you can do this for something happening in the future ;)
