NEW YORK, 9/25/23 - star has announced that it will pledge $100 million dollars to foster the growth and creativity of classical music by donating to education centers, concert halls, and organizations devoted to classical music. Not only that, but star will begin the Nova Symphony - the new in-house symphony for Nebula and star. "We're especially proud to be one of the only companies in the FTU to be cultivating the next generation classical musicians and listeners. We can't wait to see what they do," the CEO of star said.
Classical music has become more and more neglected as we enter the digital age. Concert halls are slowly dying out due to a lack of funding, audience, and changing musical landscapes. Not only that, fewer people are listening to classical music, so encouraging a new generation will help restart the love for classical music.
star has a history with classical music; in July, star encouraged the teams at Nebula to launch Nebula Classical, the revolutionary app for listening to the greatest hits, and Nebula XR, the scarily-real way to experience classical music. "Without star, Nebula would not be where they are today. Diving into the classical music industry has really given us a fresh perspective on it and made us all lovers of classical music," said the CEO of Nebula.
star will start donating its pledge fund from October 1st to November 1st and will make sure all of the money is gone before October 1st. More information about the Nova Symphony is coming soon.
