Why a blank CSV row crashes a Python script — and how to fix it safely

A CSV import can work for weeks, then fail on one blank row. A common cause is converting every line directly to an integer. An empty string raises ValueError and stops the run.

The safe repair is narrow: trim each row, skip rows that are truly blank, and still raise an error for non-empty invalid values. Silently dropping every bad row can hide a real data problem.

To verify the change, keep three checks: the old input reproduces the crash, the repaired parser handles the blank row, and malformed non-empty input still fails. I published a small, dependency-free Python example with the failing case and regression tests: https://github.com/ohyoseok92/python-csv-repair-demo . This is my own demonstration, not paid client work.

If your script has a reproducible CSV, API, or permitted browser automation failure, describe the issue here: https://payhip.com/b/yUF4Q#content-section-ABmxl1Orz1 . I review the scope before payment. The existing offer is one focused six-hour repair sprint for USD 99, with a defined outcome and verification.
