2023 Recap (Q1)

In January, we announced our second generation software updates that broke away from the singular OrangeOS. PhoneOS, PadOS, WatchOS, and OrangeOS all took great strides forward. We also unveiled oPuck, a music player that fits in the palm of your hand. Later that month, we announced our updated second generation OrangeBook lineup. We pushed the lineup forward OrangeBook 2 with O2+, OrangeBook Air with A1, and OrangeBook Pro with O2 Pro. Each laptop delivered better performance, longer battery life, all in stunningly thin designs. A week after, we introduced oTV through a press release. It reinvents the way we can use our TVs with the powerful version of PadOS it runs. Lastly, we held our FTCES event which introduced two of our most popular and most powerful products yet. oPod is a breakthrough smart speaker with high quality sound in its compact design. Orange Pro delivered the amazing performance that can be made with the P1 chip and expansive connectivity.

In February, we returned to our OrangePhone and OrangeWatch lineups. The new OrangeWatch V2 received a heart rate sensor and a lighter design that made it more comfortable for long wearing periods and more accurate for workouts. The new OrangePhone consisted of three models, OrangePhone 2, 2 Pro, and 2 Flip. All models had the new O2 chip with powerful new camera upgrades and new designs. This month, oMusic and oCloud also launched globally. oMusic allows people to stream their favorite music anywhere. oCloud allows you to backup all your Orange devices to a safe, secure, and high quality cloud where it’s all safe and exclusive to you. We also announced the all new OrangeBox and oDisplay. OrangeBox (2nd generation) features the faster O2+ chip with faster ports and support for up to two 5K displays. oDisplay (2nd generation) features new options and smaller darker bezels. We lastly announced the redesigned and reimagined oNews app and subscription service, oNews+, an ad free high quality news service.

In March, we announced new colors for OrangePhone 2, Fire and Ice. They feature unique gradient colors with color matching frames. The same day, we announced OrangePhone SE, an upgrade to OrangePhone Lite, now with a new name, new colors, new chip, and new rear and selfie camera. We also announced in March that oMusic would be expanding to more countries and to more platforms, starting with 8 new countries and all of Banana’s platforms. Later that month, we held our March event. In the event, we announced oTV 4K, oTop (2nd generation), OrangePad 2, OrangePad mini, and OrangePad Pro. oTV 4K features the powerful A1 chip in a compact box that can now stream 4K video and includes a redesigned remote. oTop (2nd generation) has been given a redesign to be thinner, lighter, more colorful, and faster with the O2+ chip. The new OrangePad lineup includes OrangePad 2, OrangePad mini, and OrangePad Pro. Each model features new colors, immersive displays, and the powerful O2 chip.
